Here we are once again at the end of the week / start of the weekend, and it’s time to go through the release schedule once more in search of all the best new roguelike and rogue adjacent games that just released on PC and console.
Regular readers will know that I skip on demos and prologue games, pay-to-win free-to-play titles, anything that looks sketchy, and anything overly sexualised or demeaning. Other than that it’s fair game, and that means we’ve got a diverse bunch of new roguish adventures to consider this week, and that’s always fine by me.
When it comes to my personal notes and highlights, I can say that Atomic Picnic is a fun co-op shooter, and Ammo and Oxygen has great atmosphere and a lot of promise – both are Early Access releases, too. Other than that, I’ve mostly been catching up on the previous week’s games after being a bit poorly, although I did take a punt on Magicraft after searching through this week’s release schedule! I should probably get Metal Slug Tactics, too, but apparently I’m only allowed to buy one new roguelike a week…
