Sharing a video from my hike to the Skok waterfall and thoughts that came to me during those three hours:🎯 Setting a goal initially feels achievable and fills you with inspiration, but after 10% of the path, it becomes clear that the journey is longer than expected.🏁 The next "goal crisis" comes when there are 10% left to reach it, making me think many people give up after completing 90%.🌟 You don't even remember how you did some hard parts of the path if you are in a flow state; everything feels hard when you feel sorry for yourself.🔄 Completing a goal once makes future attempts easier but also more daunting because you know the "hard" moments that lie ahead.⬇️ Going downhill is more challenging than going up!P.S. it was an amazing experience ❤️

Ever since I read Carnegie's book "How To Win Friends" as a teenager, starting with a simple smile became a powerful lesson. I noticed the magical impact it had on others - how faces softened and smiles were returned. Today, smiling is one of my superpowers, and a natural part of my communication. I even have a 'Smile' sticker on my laptop as a reminder to smile for myself too. Even on the most stressful days, that simple act works its magic. A smile is a small, yet powerful gesture that everyone can afford. 😊 #SmileP.S. This video is from absolutely stunning Leopold Museum-Privatstiftung in #Vienna

I often hear that Latvian IT events are small, boring, and useless. And I understand where this opinion comes from, but I love participating in events in Riga because if I just sit in the office, I would never meet people from the US, Denmark, Germany, France, etc., in just 2-3 hours and discuss news of the IT industry, startup ecosystem insights, and get tons of inspiration seeing shining eyes and personalities that impact the whole market. So thank you Deep Tech Atelier for another brilliant event and new opportunities you open.If we didn’t have a chance to catch up, text me; I’m always open to meeting new people 😊 #DeepTechAtelier

🚀 There is no such thing as "laziness."If I'm procrastinating, in 80% of cases, I don't understand what needs to be done. The only way to figure it out is to spend up to 1 hour diving in and breaking the big task into pieces. Typically, afterwards, I don't want to stop because a state of flow kicks in, and my brain is happy to accomplish a complex task. 💡💼 #professionalism #motivation #productivity"
