If you have a high school student in 10th or 11th grade, it's important to know that the PSAT will be going digital this fall. This means that your student will not have the option to take the exam with paper and pencil, but instead will need to take it on a laptop or tablet using a digital app.In addition, the SAT will be going digital in the US in March 2024.This is a big change for students and schools alike, and it's important to prepare accordingly. To get started, make sure that your student's device is compatible with the digital app that will be used for the exams. This can be a personal laptop or tablet, or one issued by the school. Before the exam, it's crucial to download and set up the digital app so that your student is ready to go on test day.If your student doesn't have access to a device, don't worry - the college board will be providing devices for students to borrow. However, this process is still being worked out, so be sure to stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.Overall, this is a major shift in the standardized testing landscape. By preparing ahead of time and staying informed, you can help your student navigate this change with confidence and ease.#DemystifyingDigitalSAT #DigitalSAT #DigitalExams #StandardizedTesting #DigitalPSAT

School is not a scam. I say this because I have personally witnessed the value of having an education. However, a high percentage of Nigerian students find it difficult to successfully transition from academic institutions to the workforce.Based on research, this is due to several factors: the major one being the lack of practical knowledge. Whilst having theory knowledge is important, being able to apply that said knowledge is highly essential in any career path. Now, unless the gap between the theory and practical knowledge closes, the implication of this is, our academic institutions will keep producing unemployable graduates. Which is why I decided to start WeJoinHands.ng.WJH is committed to empowering the youth and facilitating their transition from academic institutions to the workforce. Our two major goals are, to produce employable graduates and to foster a sense of oneness amongst Nigerians. We plan on doing this through planned programmes. We will be launching in March, but first, we are trying to create a database of Nigerian university students, preferably in their 300 level-final year. That way when we launch, these students will have the front row seats for all we have planned for them to succeed in life. So, if you are a student who still believes in the future of this country and you are in your 300 level and upwards, in any Nigerian academic institution, kindly fill out this form https://lnkd.in/eUJ9A2zcIf you are not a student, but you wish to volunteer, you can kindly fill out this form https://lnkd.in/e4i32xXZ I believe strongly in the future of this country and by us joining hands, we can truly make this country better. Please share this information with the students you know. Thank you.

The Common App is a great way to submit your college application to multiple schools and do the bulk of the work only once! You can personalize each college submission as well. This means if you want to submit your ACT or SAT scores to some schools, and go test optional at others, you can! It doesn't have to be all or nothing with standardized testing. Do your research on schools and see where your scores rank compared to the rest of the student body.#CommonApp #standardizedtests #ACT #SAT #choosewisely #collegeadmissions #college101
